Subscription questions

GOOD TO KNOW

A few answers
before you park.

Where does Parktide work?

Parktide is built for street parking in San Francisco. Rules are matched to the side of the block you select, because the other side of the street can have a different schedule.

What does the subscription include?

One monthly subscription includes curb rules, a saved parking spot, optional reminders, personal curb notes, and parking history. The US price is $2.99 per month; Apple shows your local price before you subscribe.

Do I need to share my location?

No. You can search an address or move the map yourself. If you allow location access, Parktide uses it while you’re using the app to help you find your curb. It does not track your location in the background.

Can I rely on the app instead of reading the signs?

Always check posted signs, curb paint, and meter instructions. City data can be incomplete or delayed, especially for temporary restrictions. Curb colors and most meter hours are not included. Parktide helps you understand the available information; it does not guarantee legal parking or notification delivery.

Can I use Parktide on this website?

This website introduces Parktide. Parking lookups, accounts, saved spots, and reminders live in the iPhone app. There is no web app or website sign-in.

When can I download it?

Parktide is currently in private testing. The public iPhone release is coming soon. Existing testers can continue using their installed TestFlight app.
